His youth was spent among few people and many spirits, where the elders only spoke of some greater purpose for the [Yozai](Yozai.md). The great purpose they spoke of never seemed to arrive as the seasons changed, but the conflicts of the lands without began to settle. Sensing the change in the winds of [Glies](Glies.md), Jiyuu fled from his home and enlisted in the Bureau in hopes of finding this greater purpose on his own.
