It is a small island chain found near the coasts of the [The Screaming Taiga](The%20Screaming%20Taiga.md), and it was where the survivors of [The Black Lion's](The%20Black%20Lion.md) landing first arrived at. The Drifts suffer from what can be described as a "chronological malady", causing them to appear to be displaced at various points of time itself, (as seen through the effects they had on the Black Lion itself).
