They are mana-infused storms, whose lightning bolts have a myriad of unexpected effects upon where it hits. These bolts have been recorded to redirect in sharp angles, and may cause a wide range of mutations and other such effects should it come into contact with a living creature. It is believed that they are caused, or at the very least agitated, by the casting of magic. Records show that any casting of magic or usage of mana within a mana storm causes rippling effects on the storm itself and the area where it was cast, causing both to be affected unexpectedly as well. There are also records that consistent magic use in an area can cause one to develop rapidly. Besides lightning storms, Mana Storms can manifest in a variety of forms, such as tornadoes and flash flooding. The details of what may cause these forms to manifest differently is currently unknown.
