If you do, you increase the difficulty of those challenges and those rewards. There are different degrees that each trials offers, and the **Tome of Trials** itself is able to be completed. If you complete enough of the trials in the tome, you can unlock it fully, and the reward at the end of this is official indoctrination into the **Taladonic Order**. This is only available for a character capable of casting Arcane spells. The **Tome of Trials** has a cool-down period after you use it. One used, if a Trial that you enacted is not completed, it is counted as a failure. The book is sentient enough to know if you are actively attempting it. If you run, then it will run itself out; However, if you complete the tome, it opens up the **Taladonic Tree of Magic**, in addition to other rewards. The Tome requires 3 to 4 major accomplishments to complete. >## Example >"You are about to approach the vaulted spire. You can use the ***Tome of Trials*** before you enter the spire to affect the entire dungeon. That means it increases the effects across the board, the rewards, and also counts as progression in the Tome. If you, after doing that, found an encounter and wished to use the ***Tome of Trials*** again, you could increase the difficulty of that encounter, but remember that encounter is in the dungeon already effected. This would cause the to effects stack on each other, making it extra hard but giving extra rewards.
