# Expansive Warfare
If you possess the trick and the mastery for your soul-bound weapon, you may gain the trick of another weapon that shares the same damage type and add it to your soul-bound weapon, you must have proficiency with this other weapon and it must be a weapon that shares the same unmodified damage type. (cut, impale, etc.) This ability is used for any future [Weapon Expertise](Weapon%20Expertise.md) (or [Equipment Expertise](Equipment%20Expertise.md)) used on your soul-bound weapon. You cannot choose a trick or mastery you already have on your soul-bound weapon. DM discretion might deny some combinations for the sake of common sense.
