# Hallowed Edge
Whenever you would deal damage with a melee weapon against an enemy of an evil alignment, you deal twice as much damage to [AR](Armor%20Rating.md). In addition, if you are fighting a fiend, you always deal your [Cut](Cut.md) damage with your weapon regardless of current AR. The damage can still be reduced as normal.
