You also gain a proficiency with these items if you don’t have it. While a [Warhammer (C)](Warhammer%20(C).md) and a [Heavy Shield (C)](Heavy%20Shield%20(C).md) are wielded together with this property you can use the ability Battle Forge. In addition, your Hammer and Anvil items have the [Upkept](Upkept.md) property on them constantly. You can also use [Corvanis Smithing Kit](Corvanis%20Smithing%20Kit.md) while wielding your Hammer and Anvil as the tools are stored in your shield. It takes an action to refill with a new [Corvanis Smithing Kit](Corvanis%20Smithing%20Kit.md).
