This effect can only be used when fighting against a fiend, undead, or evil-aligned villain. If you already possess the [Trance (Corvanis)](Trance%20(Corvanis).md) class feature, that feature can affect your ranged weapons. In addition, if you use it while fighting a fiend, undead or evil-aligned villain, you deal additional radiant damage with your weapon attacks equal to your proficiency modifier.
