In addition you can use your [Regret](Regret.md) to spend in place of spell slots by paying an equal amount of [Regret](Regret.md) to the spells level. This allows you to cast even if you have no spell slots remaining. If you possess the [Heretic's Hunger](Heretic's%20Hunger.md) class feature you can expend spell slots to gain an equal amount of [Regret](Regret.md) the level of those spell slots. This is a bonus action to use.
