Upon receiving 10 Haze stacks, the person will transform into a zombie. This results in the loss of the character. ### Stages of Haze Haze is manageable, although going above 3 makes things rather difficult to cure. Most cures will have to be done in town, as there is no easy way to get rid of Haze otherwise. Haze affects those with high [Exposure](Exposure.md) more. In other words, having high [Exposure](Exposure.md) makes it more difficult to resist the [Diseases](Diseases%20&%20Curses.md), and Haze creatures are attracted to [Exposure](Exposure.md). Haze can be gained by interacting with certain environmental effects, being critically hit by [Haze Zombies](Haze%20Zombies.md), and so on. Critical hits from haze inflicted creatures as well as environmental hazards can cause haze. ##### Condition scaling - **1-3 Haze**: Is manageable and will subside on it's own. - **3+ Haze:** It is difficult to cure and cannot be rested away. - **10 Haze:** Results in zombification and loss of player character.
