# Traveler's Soul The Traveler's Soul is the manifestation of the Player behind the character. - Also known as 'Diamonds' by [Oun](Oun.md). - "a refraction of many souls" - "most souls only have one life and travelers can have many at the same time" - "the more times it refracts the more powerful it becomes" The Traveler's Soul are miniature prisms which can interact with the light and the world through a unique facet known as their character. It is through their eyes that we see the light, where light enters the characters and heroes are born ([The Seven](The%20Seven.md)) Gaining levels is a symptom of the Traveler's soul being forged brighter by battle and challenge, as is the purview of [Iass](Iass.md).
