He is about 6 feet wide across his shoulders. He has brownish skin and a red mushroom cap for hair. He has a scar across one of his eyes leading up through his cap. He also has small mushrooms growing out of his upper arms. ### History >## Adventurers in the Laughing Swamp > >Kazakori is first encountered in a cave in the Laughing Swamp by the adventurer party of [[Akakai]], [Verp](Verp.md/), [[Worgh the Wyrd]], [[Kenji]], and [[Zhan Ren]]. While looking for [[Sinning Simon]] they instead stumble upon a cave full of mushrooms and a strange hole. The biggest mushroom of the cave moves, revealing itself to be Kazakori who questions why they are in his cave. Akakai initially draws her bow thinking he might be an akuma but after they talk some they realize he is not. He explains that he was injured by an akuma and was affected by their energy. He explains that he could get it healed but that it looks good for female Mycanoids so he leaves it. When they ask him about Sinning Simon, he aids the party by eating a mushroom that's growing from his shoulder to get a vision on how to find Simon. He tells them they ought to seek out a cavern full of crystals. > >As they talk Akakai and Verp notice a strange hole in his cave which Kazakori explains is an entrance down to the [Underworld](Underworld.md). They try to fly down but give up after awhile to which Kazakori explains it would take a month of travel to reach it. While Akakai and Verp are flying down, Worgh and Kenji ask for permission to take a mushroom which he grants and become high after eating them. Zhan remains behind and swaps warrior stories with Kazakori who shares mushroom juice with him. He talks of a time he fought an umberhulk while he was young and only defeated it by headbutting it to death. Eventually the group reconvenes and and Kazakori makes a concoction out of his mushroom offspring to sober Worgh and Kenji up. As they leave the party thanks him and he gives a mushroom to Zhan in case "any of his friends get real fucked up."[^1](https://youtu.be/2Y4P77IJVTQ?si=j-FzyhtNDuNO0zHz) ### Trivia - Arcadum mentions that Kazakori Otaku is an old NPC who has been around since the Third [[Iteration]] but he has never had a chance to use until *[[Shrine of Sin]]*.
