[Hex](/), [Haruko](Haruko "wikilink"), [Ryn Lostone](Ryn_Lostone "wikilink"), [Sunder](/) and [Tori Hayden](Tori_Hayden "wikilink") are Stranded in the ominous fog and everyone feels the presence of those that walk in the Mist. They encounter some [Skittering Ones](Skittering_Ones "wikilink"), some [Mist Marchers](Mist_Marcher "wikilink") and the [Engorged One](Engorged_One "wikilink"). Everyone tries their best to stealthily move towards the bridge. However, the Engorged One still sees the party, so they start running as fast as possible. As they get closer, they hear sounds of combat on the bridge. Sunder gets close to the river and casts Burning Hands on the water in order to make the Mist more dense, hoping to block the Engorged One's view. The mist gets denser, but he doesn't realize that the flames also signal his position to everything nearby, even the things in the water. Sunder's instincts save him; he dives out of the way as a gargantuan maw emerges from the river. The Mistviathan, a [Mist-lord](Mist-lord "wikilink"), immediately dives back down, but Sunder sees a banner of one of the many ships that travel between Kalkatesh and Glies between its teeth.[^1](https://youtu.be/HR43sK-Tl3s?si=kssd5iDorhi6jZQl) ### Trivia - [Arcadum](Arcadum.md) revealed that the Mistviathan is an optional continent wide boss of Glies for all of [[Phase 4]]. In [Kalkatesh](Kalkatesh.md), they are known as [Epitomes](Epitome.md). - It is presumed but not confirmed to be the leviathan that attacked the [[Maidens Scorn]] in *[Lost at Sea](Lost%20at%20Sea.md/)* due to Sunder seeing a ship banner in its teeth.
