They were actually bio-mechanical creations of [Maltos](Maltos.md) that crash landed on [Verum](Verum.md). ### History ## Background There are tales of giants in Glies. These giants were said to be so big that they could sit on top the mountains. Before the [[Yokai]] were spread across the continent, it was believed that these titans represented the natural forces of the world. These forces are fire, water, earth, air, wood, metal, light, and dark. It is also believed that the giants had a sacred city in the center of Glies, and long ago in the [[Mystical Era]], all the giants died out, and from their deaths the Glies of today was born. The [Titan's Eye](Titan's%20Eye.md) is named after them.[^1](https://youtu.be/opLW4xwcjJQ?si=eJ9DYpnfW0ElWIZN) It is also believed that the Titans slaughtered the Eastern Dragons long ago in the [[Mystical Era]].[^2](https://youtu.be/X3dCzoG22NU?si=owuDhbfY5jyCQDie) ## Connection to Maltos While exploring the Shrine of Sin in the [Laughing Swamp](Laughing%20Swamp.md/), [Verp](Verp.md/), [[Akakai]], [[Worgh the Wyrd]], [[Zhan Ren]], and [[Kenji]] stumble across various skeletons of Titans underground in a massive graveyard of bone and blood. While investigating one of the Titan skulls they discover another skeleton inside with a strange material (wires) going from the smaller skeleton into the larger. Verp accidentally connects his tablet to the wires and a past log of the pilot is projected from him. Through this it is discovered that the Titans were actually biomechanical creations of [Maltos](Maltos.md) from their war with [Ragdar](Ragdar.md) that crash landed on [Verum](Verum.md).
