They are a race that is comprised of the offspring of a mortal and a [Yokai](Yokai.md). ## Appearance Yozai are always half human and half yokai, no matter what the race of the mortal parent is. This relates back to their original creation, when a Yokai fell in love with a Human for the first time. They have spectral arms that reflect characteristics of their Yokai parent. These arms will disappear when a Yozai is sleeping or [unconscious](Unconscious%20(C).md). ## History "Long ago in the [Mystical Era](https://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Mystical_Era "Mystical Era"), the King of the [Yokai](Yokai.md) spoke out an edict that never shall our two races of [Yokai](Yokai.md) and mortal cross their blood. It was because, when the Kami of the [Yokai](Yokai.md) looked within the hearts of the mortals, he saw hatred, he saw unchecked ambition, he saw darkness. And as such, that was the way of the world for what would seem to be all time." Their love began soft and subtle, like falling leaves in an autumn wind. It is said that she was a warrior, a samurai of the [Northern Kingdoms](Northern%20Kingdoms.md), and he...
