A golden gate filtered out the unworthy to the great mountain and the realms knew balance. When the final trumpet blew upon the Great Reckoning, the gates were shattered and the last fell into the world below. Stripped of his power, Regalia seeks mortals to bargain with in the hope that once more the gates with shine and the sound of his trumpet will by like thunder.[^1](https://www.worldanvil.com/w/verum-arcadum/a/patrons-article) ##### Scrolls of Not'Chek The adventurer [Brewbad Stormfinger](Brewbad%20Stormfinger.md/) communes with his patron Regalia via a gold coin he carries. He does so for advice on if he should continue on with his party into a dark cave. As he does so an unsettling presence appears and the sunlight brightens up. A shining light flows all around Brewbad as he summons forth Regalia. Following this, Regalia appears to come down from the sky and questions why Brewbad is losing his resolve. When Brebad talks of how afraid he is of entering the dark cave, Regalia questions his cowardice and talks of how Brebad is infused with his might and thus will be made worthy. He orders Brewbad to travel into the cave and prove his worth.
