He has a settlement named after him in [Orde](Orde.md) called Jordan's Rest[^1](https://www.worldanvil.com/w/verum-arcadum/a/jordans-rest-settlement)[^2](https://thelivingworldofverum.obsidianportal.com/wikis/jordans-rest). Jordan was originally a Seven [^3](https://youtu.be/yunJUgiE0z4?si=yZzNH1lBHjb2nt76). Jordan wears dolls on his belt as good-luck charms and also as a reminder of the great cost of war. ### History ## Background Many years ago, during a great war in [Daborak](Daborak.md) against a tyrant of fire and the bandits of the north, much of Daborak was destroyed by flames and endured famine and death. In a cemetery of far too many stones, Jordan stood against the tyrant with the Sword of Jordan in one hand and the flames of [Lorita](Lorita.md) in the other and fought against him on the top of the hill. He failed and was imprisoned in flames. ### *[A Sprinkle of Fate](A%20Sprinkle%20of%20Fate.md/)* While following the fire towards the Ashen Hill near a ruined fort, the party finds an imprisoned, burnt body at the top of the hill surrounded by soulflame. [Kyros Ignatior](Kyros%20Ignatior.md/) discovers that this is the imprisoned body of a Seven and sees the Seven's past through his eyes before being given an option to free the man's soul using a smiling key and lock.
