This stacks with other armor sources of reduction, but not itself. *Withstand* : The wearer may use this [Withstand](Withstand.md) action when being attacked by an attack with Cleave or Slashing damage. If they do, they increase the reduction their entire armor provides against Slashing damage by 2 for 1 round.
