This resource pool represents the brutal nature of the people that live there and the culture that weeds out the weak from the strong. Characters can tap into this resource pool to do the following. Reroll a failed attack roll. Maximize a weapon damage roll. Defeat the next minion creature you hit with an attack. The maximum amount of Superiority a character has is equal to the number of character paths they possess. This resource pool is refreshed whenever the character finishes a comfortable long rest. ### [Iron Mana](Iron%20Mana.md) <small>(Level 1)</small> Keywords – *[Magic](Magic.md)*, *[Supernatural](Supernatural.md)*, *[Strategy](Strategy.md)* The Spire Ael learns two [spells](Prism%20Spells.md). Those spells can be cast in the following manner. The Spire Ael can use their [Superiority](Superiority.md) as [Mana](Mana.md) to cast spells. Spells cast using [Superiority](Superiority.md) are colorless. Spells cast this way use the Spire Ael's weapon as an implement and have their range changed to the melee range of that weapon. If that spell is an [attack](Attack.md) spell, the Spire Ael may apply it with their weapon as an [attack](Attack.md), this adds their weapon damage and spell damage to the total effect. ### [Signum](Signum.md) <small>(Level 1)</small> Keywords – *[Magic](Magic.md)*, *[Supernatural](Supernatural.md)*, *[Tactics](Tactics.md)*, *[Imbue](Imbue.md)* [APC](Action%20Point%20Cost.md) - 1 Target - Self Range - Self The Spire Ael can access the mana lingering in the air after an enemy has been defeated by a colorless [spell](Prism%20Spells.md). The Spire Ael may only use this ability within 1 round of an enemy defeated in this way and must be adjacent to that creature (or its corpse). If they do, they are imbued with Tier I [Saturated](Saturated.md). Spells cast with this [Mana](Mana.md) are colorless. ### [Great Weapon Specialist](Great%20Weapon%20Specialist.md) <small>(Level 1)</small> This character gains a [Weapon Augment](Weapon%20Augment.md) to a qualifying weapon they are proficient with. It gains another of these augments at level 3, 6, and 9. ### [Paradigm](Paradigm.md) <small>(Level 2)</small> At the end of the round, for each enemy that the Spire Ael has defeated, the Spire Ael gains 1 [Superiority](Superiority.md). ### [Ael Parry](Ael%20Parry.md) <small>(Level 4)</small> Keywords – *[Mundane](Mundane.md)*, *[Supernatural](Supernatural.md)*, *[Tactics](Tactics.md)*, *[Imbue](Imbue.md)*, *[Empower](Empower.md)* The Spire Ael may now use the [Parry](Parry.md) core feature on [spells](Prism%20Spells.md). This include spells with the [attack](Attack.md) keyword or a spell that targets ONLY the Spire Ael. The Spire Ael uses its [Prowess](Prowess.md), [Competence](Competence.md), or [Authority](Authority.md) for all uses of [Parry](Parry.md). If the Spire Ael succeeds, the spell effect is negated instead of the normal parry effects and the Spire Ael is imbued with [Saturated](Saturated.md), the tier of which is equal to the spell level of the spell cast. This parry can only be used with Great Weapons. ### [Blade of Aladine](Blade%20of%20Aladine.md) <small>(Level 5)</small> Keywords – *[Magic](Magic.md)*, *[Supernatural](Supernatural.md)*, *[Economy](Economy.md)*, *[Empower](Empower.md)* Whenever the Spire Ael would defeat an enemy, if that enemy was a spell caster that possesses a [Spell Augment](Spell%20Augment.md), the Spire Ael may gain one of those [Spell Augments](Spell%20Augment.md). The Spire Ael may use [Spell Augments](Spell%20Augment.md) gained this way until the end of combat. In addition, the Spire Ael may now use mana instead of [APC](Action%20Point%20Cost.md) to make attacks with a Great Weapon. ### [Kaska Blade](Kaska%20Blade.md) <small>(Level 7)</small> Keywords – *[Magic](Magic.md)*, *[Supernatural](Supernatural.md)* The Spire Ael infuses their blade with the [spells](Prism%20Spells.md) they have encountered, gaining knowledge from Aladine on how they might enact his will. The Spire Ael learns an additional number of [spells](Prism%20Spells.md) equal to their [Prowess](Prowess.md), [Competence](Competence.md), or [Authority](Authority.md). ### [Fervent Worship](Fervent%20Worship%20(Spire%20Ael).md) <small>(Level 8)</small> Keywords – *[Magic](Magic.md)*, *[Divine](Divine.md)*, *[Supernatural](Supernatural.md)*, *[Economy](Economy.md)* The Spire Ael has the capacity to enter a fervor. They offer themselves along with any of their allies with this ability. The amount of time it takes to complete this intense level of worship is determined by the GM. Once this worship is complete, Aladine blesses the Spire Ael with intense fervor. The next time the Spire Ael would roll initiative, they gain an amount of temporary [Superiority](Superiority.md) equal to the number of participants in the worship that have this ability. This does not count towards the Spire Ael’s maximum [Superiority](Superiority.md). ### [Iron Absolution](Iron%20Absolution.md) <small>(Level 10)</small> Keywords – *[Mundane](Mundane.md)*, *[Supernatural](Supernatural.md)*, *[Affected](Affect.md)* The Spire Ael has ascended to the pinnacle of the Spire. Their blade hungers for the weak and seeks to destroy the strong. Whenever the Spire Ael would deal damage with a Great Weapon, the target is afflicted with Tier IV [Mute](Mute.md)/[Silenced](Silenced.md). If the attack was a critical hit, the tier is VII instead. At the end of the round the Spire Ael is imbued with [Trance](Prism%20(Testing)/Keywords/Imbuements/Mundane/Trance.md), the tier of which is equal to the number of enemies afflicted with [Mute](Mute.md)/[Silenced](Silenced.md).
