# Songs <small>(Level 1)</small>

The Bard gains access to songs and can implement them in battle through any form of artistic representation, whether it be through actual song, instrument, comedy, oration, dance, or other forms of expression.
Performing a Song has a myriad of effects dependent on the song type. Song types depicts the parameters of Song completion. The Bard can spend [Adrenaline](Adrenaline.md) on songs to enhance their effects.
The Bard gains [Adrenaline](Adrenaline.md) whenever a song is completed. The amount of [Adrenaline](Adrenaline.md) is based on the complexity of the Song. The maximum [Adrenaline](Adrenaline.md) a character can have is equal to their maximum Action Points.
The Bard starts their career with 2 Songs. They may learn new ones as they encounter them on their journey or through class features.
[Adrenaline](Adrenaline.md) fades at the end of combat.
