The Gladiator selects an enemy that it can see within range. That enemy must make an opposed check against the Gladiator. The Gladiator uses their [Competence](Competence.md) or [Authority](Authority.md) vs the enemy's [Tenacity](Tenacity.md) or [Willpower](Willpower.md). If the Gladiator wins, the target incurs Tier III [Taunt](Prism%20(Testing)/Keywords/Afflictions/Mundane/Taunt.md).
### [Dual Wield](Dual%20Wield.md) <small>(Level 1)</small>
Whenever the Gladiator would wield a weapon in each hand, the Gladiator may benefit from the augments of both weapons simultaneously. In addition, whenever the Gladiator would make an [Attack of Opportunity](Attack%20of%20Opportunity.md), they may attack with both weapons. They must still pay the APC of those weapons.

If the Gladiator wins, the target is afflicted with Tier II [Distracted](Distracted.md), limited to attacking the Gladiator and the Gladiator is imbued with Tier III [Prepared](Prepared.md).

Whenever the Gladiator would be afflicted by [Wounded](Wounded.md) or [Shattered](Shattered.md) in a combat, they ignore a number of those tiers equal to their [Presence](Presence.md) or [Willpower](Willpower.md). Once the number of tiers the Gladiator would have gained exceeds these parameters, they gain tiers of [Wounded](Wounded.md)/[Shattered](Shattered.md) as normal.

If the Gladiator wins, the target is afflicted with Tier V [Stunned](Stunned.md), if the Gladiator loses, they are afflicted with Tier V [Stunned](Stunned.md) instead.
