This, combined with a disguise kit, can complete the deception, allowing the Charlatan to instantly adopt this created persona. This ability is both used to copy a face and to switch faces. The Charlatan can know any number of faces, but may only prepare a number of them equal to their [Cunning](Cunning.md), [Wit](Wit.md) or [Guile](Guile.md). A face gained during combat can replace one that the Charlatan has not used from his prepared faces, un-preparing that face. The Charlatan may use [Cunning](Cunning.md), [Wit](Wit.md) or [Guile](Guile.md). The DC of this check is 10 + the creatures CR. If the Charlatan should succeed, they may ask the DM what possible reaction a creature might have to a line of questioning, topic or response to others in the conversation. ### [Prosopagnosia](Prosopagnosia%20(Charlatan).md) <small>(Level 2)</small> Keywords – *[Supernatural](Supernatural.md), [Depower](Depower.md)* Whenever a creature would make a check to remember the Charlatan, see through their disguise or gather clues to their whereabouts, they attempt this roll with a penalty equal to the Charlatan’s [Spirit](Spirit.md). ### [Consume Identity](Consume%20Identity%20(Charlatan).md) <small>(Level 4)</small> Keywords – *[Mundane](Mundane.md), [Empower](Empower.md)* Whenever the Charlatan would be injured, they may instead use one of their stored faces to destroy their current face, expending it. If they do, they are considered defeated until the start of their next turn. At the start of that turn, the Charlatan stands up with no APC. This horrid mirror reflects dark words in the creature’s mind. When used, the Charlatan makes a Deception check.
