Range - 120ft
The Officer attempts an ability check against a creature within range. The Officer may use [Competence](Competence.md), [Initiative](Initiative.md) or [Tenacity](Tenacity.md). The DC of this check is 10 + the creatures CR. If the Officer should succeed, they may learn the ability scores, an offensive statistic, a defensive statistic, movement, senses, a special ability, a piece of equipment, a trait or an effect the target may have. Learning a special ability also reveals the names of the special abilities that creature has. The same is true for equipment, traits and effects.

This character gains an augment to a qualifying weapon they are proficient with. It gains another of these augments at levels 3, 6, and 9.

At the start of the Officer’s turn, they grant 1 [Courage](Courage.md) to all allies within 30ft. In addition, whenever they would use the [Reprimand](Reprimand%20(Officer).md) ability on an ally, they increase their [Courage](Courage.md) by 1.

The Officer surveys the battlefield and prepares their forces for the battle ahead.
The Officer attempts an investigation check. For every increment of 5 the Officer gets on this check, they may choose from one of the following imbuements that can be imbued to an ally in range. An ally cannot be imbued with more then one imbuement from this ability at a time. The Tiers of these imbuements are equal to the Officer’s [Competence](Competence.md), [Initiative](Initiative.md) or [Tenacity](Tenacity.md).
