The first time in a round, whenever the Watchman would receive a physical affliction, they reduce the tier of that affliction by 1.

The Watchman is immune to surprised rounds. In addition, at the start of combat, the Watchman may attempt a perception check. If they do, they add the result to their initiative roll for the first round of combat.

Whenever an enemy would move through or out of the Watchman’s range with a melee weapon, they may make an attack against that enemy. The APC of this attack is reduced by an amount equal to the Watchman’s [[Vigor]], [[Tenacity]] or [[Willpower]].

At the start of the Watchman’s turn, they reduce the [Concealed](Concealed.md)/[Invisibility](Invisibility.md) imbuements of all enemies within 30ft by an amount equal to their [[Vigor]], [[Tenacity]] or [[Willpower]]. Allies within 30ft have the [Distracted](Distracted.md)/[Compulsed](Compulsed.md) affliction reduced by the same amount.

The Watchman now triggers [Opportunity Specialist](Opportunity%20Specialist%20(Watchman).md) whenever an enemy enters their melee weapon range if they have it. In addition, the Watchman may add their weapon damage to the Shield Rating of a shield they successfully block with.
