They must win an opposed attribute check. They may use their [[Sovereignty]], [[Authority]], [[Grace]] or [[Competence]]. The target may use their [[Tenacity]], [[Willpower]], [[Resilience]] or [[Sovereignty]] . If the caster wins, the target loses [[Courage]] equal to twice the level of this spell. If they have no Courage, they instead are afflicted with Tier 1 [[Horror]]. Spell Ascension – For each level of the spell, the tier of the [[Horror]] is increased by 1. [[Upkeep]] - None ### <font color="#5218fa">**Indigo**</font> Keywords - [[Mind]], [[Afflict]], [[Harm]] Color Effect – While a target is afflicted with the [[Horror]] affliction from this spell, whenever the caster would lose hit points, the target loses half of those hit points. ### <font color="#0000ff">**Blue**</font> Keywords - [[Mind]], [[Afflict]], [[Dreamwalk]] Color Effect - While a target is afflicted with the [[Horror]] affliction from this spell, the caster Dreamwalks a number of squares towards the target whenever the target would move. ### <font color="#008000">**Green**</font> Keywords - [[Mind]], [[Afflict]], [[Depower]] Color Effect - While a target is afflicted with the [[Horror]] affliction from this spell, the target halves all sources of healing they would receive. ### <font color="#ffff00">**Yellow**</font> Keywords - [[Mind]], [[Afflict]], [[Dash]] Color Effect - While a target is afflicted with the [[Horror]] affliction from this spell, the caster has additional MR equal to the penalty to MR the target possesses. ### <font color="#ffa500">**Orange**</font> Keywords - [[Mind]], [[Afflict]], [[Empower]] Color Effect - While a target is afflicted with the [[Horror]] affliction from this spell, the caster increases the tier of afflictions from spells they would inflict on the target by 1. ### <font color="#ff0000">**Red**</font> Keywords - [[Mind]], [[Afflict]] Color Effect - While a target is afflicted with the [[Horror]] affliction from this spell, whenever an ally of the target within 15ft would fail an opposed attribute check, they incur Tier 1 [[Horror]] for 1 round. ### <font color="#ee82ee">**Violet**</font> Keywords - [[Mind]], [[Afflict]], [[Harm]] Color Effect - While a target is afflicted with the [[Horror]] affliction from this spell, the caster takes on the humanoid visage of the target, or a malignant representation if they are not humanoid. This causes attacks against the caster from that creature to cause Psychic damage to the target equal to the level of the spell.
