# Meat Shield

The wielder may make this attack with a qualifying weapon and deal damage with that weapon. When they do, the target is considered Grappled.
While Grappled, the next Ranged attack an enemy would target you with targets the Grappled enemy instead. Once damage has been dealt to the grappled creature in this way, the enemy is released.
If the weapon you used in this attack is a weapon with the [Grapple](Prism/Glossary/Keywords/Weapon%20Properties/Properties/Grapple.md) property, you apply your weapon’s damage die to the damage of the ranged attack made by the enemy.
