You must designate that creature as the target of your Vow of Vengeance at the time this path is taken. **<font color="#8555d5">Bonuses: </font>** - **Adventurer:** +2 to the highest Attribute that enemy possesses (choose one if tied); - **Vagabond:** +1 to each of the highest and lowest Attributes that enemy possesses (choose one per position if tied; choose two if all are tied). **<font color="#8555d5">Special: </font>** - While this Vow is active, you suffer a -1 penalty to all rolls, except when on an expedition or performing a task that directly and meaningfully brings you closer to enacting your vengeance. While in an encounter with a creature that shares a race with your target, this penalty is suspended and you instead gain a +1 to all rolls. - Whenever you have a clear opportunity to exact your vengeance on the target, you must attempt to do so, provided the attempt would not be unreasonable, impossible, or completely suicidal (DM's discretion). - When you kill, destroy, or imprison the target of your Vow, the Vow is complete. All roll modifiers from this path are removed, but the attribute bonuses granted by this path are doubled.
