- You must worship [Wode](Wode.md). In addition, you must have faced and survived an encounter the DM designates as a genuine nightmare — overwhelming odds, a personal horror, or a no-win scenario.
**<font color="#8555d5">Bonuses: </font>**
- **Adventurer:** +2 to Authority;
- **Vagabond:** +1 to Authority and Willpower.
**<font color="#8555d5">Special: </font>**
- You are [Immune](Immunity.md) to the [Frightened](Frightened.md) Affliction.
- In addition, whenever an enemy within 20 ft. is afflicted with Frightened by any source, you gain [Courage](Courage.md) equal to your current Authority. You can only gain this Courage once per instance of this Frightened source.
