The spellcaster target with this ability must make an opposed attribute test against the Dogmatist. The Dogmatist uses their [Authority](Authority.md), [Cunning](Cunning.md) or [Sovereignty](Sovereignty.md). The enemy uses their [Authority](Authority.md), [Cunning](Cunning.md) or [Sovereignty](Sovereignty.md). If the Dogmatist wins, the spell and its effects are negated and the caster is refunded their mana spent. The [APC](Action%20Point%20Cost.md) of this ability is equal to the spells APC reduced by an amount equal to the Dogmatist’s [Authority](Authority.md), [Cunning](Cunning.md) or [Sovereignty](Sovereignty.md).
