Target – A Spell being cast within range The Dogmatist can attempt to use their magic to disrupt an enemy as a spell is being cast. The spellcaster target with this ability must make an opposed attribute test against the Dogmatist. The Dogmatist uses their [Authority](Authority.md), [Cunning](Cunning.md) or [Sovereignty](Sovereignty.md). The enemy uses their [Authority](Authority.md), [Cunning](Cunning.md) or [Sovereignty](Sovereignty.md). If the Dogmatist wins, the spell and its effects are negated and the caster is refunded their mana spent. The [APC](Action%20Point%20Cost.md) of this ability is equal to the spells APC reduced by an amount equal to the Dogmatist’s [Authority](Authority.md), [Cunning](Cunning.md) or [Sovereignty](Sovereignty.md). The [MPC](Mana%20Point%20Cost.md) of this ability is equal to the spell’s MPC. ### [Implement Specialist](Implement%20Specialist.md) <small>(Level 1)</small> The Dogmatist gains an Augment to a qualifying [Implement](Implements.md) they are proficient with. It gains another of these augment at levels 3, 6, and 9. ### [Unbending Law](Unbending%20Law.md) <small>(Level 1)</small> Keywords – *[Magic](Prism/Glossary/Keywords/Typing%20Effects/Magic.md), [Empower](Empower.md)* The Dogmatist’s spells are [Resistant](Resistance.md) to being dispelled. In addition, the first time an [Imbuement](Imbuement.md) would be reduced or removed by an enemy source on the Dogmatist, that reduction is negated instead. ### [Piercing Dispel](Piercing%20Dispel.md) <small>(Level 2)</small> Keywords – *[Magic](Prism/Glossary/Keywords/Typing%20Effects/Magic.md), [Depower](Depower.md), [Harm](Harm.md)* Whenever the Dogmatist would remove a spell or [Supernatural](Supernatural.md) effect that has incurred [Imbuements](Imbuement.md), the Dogmatist may attempt a Religion check. If they do, they deal Radiant damage to the target equal to the result of that check minus 10. The Dogmatist can use this ability whenever an ally is attacked. The ally is healed an amount equal to the Dogmatist’s [Spirit](Spirit.md). The attacking enemy takes Radiant damage equal to the healing received. ### [Deistic Spell](Deistic%20Spell.md) <small>(Level 5)</small> Keywords – *[Divine](Divine.md), [Economy](Economy.md), [Empower](Empower.md)* Once per combat, the Dogmatist can cast a spell that can have its mana supplied by other allies. Each ally may offer mana up to the Dogmatist’s [Authority](Authority.md), [Cunning](Cunning.md) or [Sovereignty](Sovereignty.md). The Dogmatist loses any of this mana that is not spent on the spell.
