Whenever the Wild Mage would spend mana to cast a spell or use an ability they have not used this combat, they gain Temporary Hit Points equal to their [Guile](Guile.md), [Resilience](Resilience.md) or [Sovereignty](Sovereignty.md).

At the start of the Wild Mage’s turn, they may attempt a Persuasion check.
- If the result is 20 or higher, they can gain a 1st level ability of another Mana class.
- If the result is below 20, the Wild Mage is afflicted with [Stunned V](Stunned.md).
Using, benefiting, or triggering these new abilities costs 1 Mana Point each time they are activated. The effects of the Wild Magic Surge fade at the end of combat.
