The Surgeon may use a healing potion or [Healer’s Kit](Healer’s%20Kit.md) to prepare their next attack to deal additional damage equal to the result of a Medicine check minus 10. The Item [APC](Action%20Point%20Cost.md) must be equal to the APC of the weapon selected. This state lasts until the end of the next round.
