# Infestation
An **Infestation** is an area or region that has an overwhelming number of enemies, predators or that possesses some erratic nature or modifier.
Once a region gains the Infestation trait, a party's travel is no longer tracked for in sections. instead, it it tracked for in days, meaning that every day, the party gains a chance to be encountered by the said enemy or reason of Infestation.
