If you’re able to make multiple attacks with the Attack action, this attack replaces **one** of them. The target must be no more than one [Size](Size.md) larger than you and must be within your reach. Instead of making an attack roll, you make a [Athletics (C)](Athletics%20(C).md) contested by the target’s[Athletics (C)](Athletics%20(C).md) or [Acrobatics (C)](Acrobatics%20(C).md) (the target chooses the ability to use). If you win the contest, you either knock the target [Prone (C)](Prone%20(C).md) or push it 5 feet away from you. • Shove is an attack replacer. • Two weapon fighting only allows the additional attack if you attacked. So you cannot trigger the attack if you shoved first. • Triggered attacks can be replaced with attack replacers. • Grapple is an attack replacer that can only occur on the core attacks (so not on triggered attacks) # Grappled - A grappled creature's speed becomes 0, and it can't benefit from any bonus to its speed. - The condition ends if the grappler is [[Incapacitated (C)]]. - The condition also ends if an effect removes the grappled creature from the reach of the grappler or grappling effect, such as when a creature is hurled away by the [[Thunderwave]] spell.
