The planet is the source of futuristic technology such as laser guns, artificial intelligence, holographic technology,[^1](https://youtu.be/xOhNo83xGi0?si=syXNjqSS_AgATXp0) and vessels that allows one to travel through the [Astral Sea](Verum/Astral%20Sea/Astral%20Sea.md). The cause of the population's disappearance is unknown. ### Relationship to Ragdar _"[Ragdar](Ragdar.md) rebelled against Maltos, and that in the ensuing war something terrible happened to Ragdar."_ Whatever happened to Ragdar, it has riddled some from Maltos with guilt.[^3](https://youtu.be/X3dCzoG22NU?si=OjiaHNTd4qA7sN5t) ## Piolet\'s Transmission A transmission from a piolet from Maltos was discovered in a [Titan's](Titan.md/) wreckage, under a shrine in the [Laughing Swamp](Scribe%20Corner/Personal%20Folders/Frosty's%20Igloo/Laughing%20Swamp.md/). This transmission is from before Maltos was destroyed. The transmission was discovered and delivered by [Verp](Verp.md/) , and states: _"(static) I can\'t really see. Oh, there it is. Marshall, I keep telling you we have to update these damn things. Are you sure the captain wants us to do this? I don\'t really (static)\... 13 days since we set out. Some of them crash landed on [Verum](Verum.md) and became know as [Titans](Titan.md/). Other known technology include the [Astral Sight Stone](Astral%20Sight%20Stone.md/).
