Home of the Alexandria Adventurer's Guild, it’s a common adventuring starting point for Adventurers that are both native to Glies and [Kalkatesh](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Kalkatesh "Kalkatesh"). Alexandria was founded by the now Archmage of Glies, [Azolon](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Azolon "Azolon"). #### The Maw **The Maw** is where many those who seek the sailing life operate in rivers and in the sea itself. The islands islands surrounding this sea resemble teeth.[1] #### Flowing Lands _ Main article: [Flowing Lands](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Flowing_Lands "Flowing Lands") _ The **Flowing Lands** are fertile lands marked by terrains of various elevations, with several rivers, waterfalls and villages dispersed in it. One of the villages is [Uzu](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Uzu "Uzu"). #### Wailing Scars The **Wailing Scars** is an enormous bamboo shoot forest. Prized for the privacy it can offer, entire estates can be hidden among its maze-like reeds from those who travel on the roads. It’s also the most western region where the [Mists](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Mists_of_Glies "Mists of Glies") have been seen by adventurers. #### Laughing Swamp _ Main article: [Laughing Swamp](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Laughing_Swamp "Laughing Swamp") _ The **Laughing Swamp** is a swamp region that contains various herbs, fungus, fruits and other flora with special and medicinal qualities. The water is relatively shallow, reaching up to 6-feet deep, and with trees of considerable height, straight trunks, and a tangle of roots that are visible outside of the soil. It is the homeland of the [Geckoi](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Geckoi "Geckoi") and their capital of [Black Hollow](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Black_Hollow "Black Hollow") is in the north. As the Geckoi generally don't like staying in one place for too long, Black Hollow is akin to an enormous inn. #### Wandering Weal A large open field that is the homeland of the [Ho'ask](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Ho'ask "Ho'ask") and their capital city of [Haven Rock](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Haven_Rock "Haven Rock"). #### Titan's Eye _ Main article: [Titan's Eye](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Titan's_Eye "Titan's Eye") _ The **Titan’s Eye** appears as a big crater lake surrounded by mountain ranges. It separates western Glies from the rest of the continent. It is known to be the source of the [mists](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Mists_of_Glies "Mists of Glies"). #### Northern Province Within the **northern province** reside the [northern kingdoms](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Glies#Northern_Kingdoms) which are more directly connected with the [Yokai](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Yokai "Yokai") that rule them and are very spiritual. They are separated into clans representing different elements: fire, water, wind, wood, metal, light, shadow, and blood. #### The Crashing Coast An area in the center-north-east that is constantly berated by storms. [Jaka Vall](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Jaka_Vall "Jaka Vall") is here. ##### Joka Vall Alternately, **Jaka'Vall**. A city built atop the ruins of the former capital of a race known as the [Ominax](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Ominax "Ominax"). An adventuring hub where people go to seek artifacts in the thousands of ruins there. #### Path of Prosperity _ Main article: [Path of Prosperity](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Path_of_Prosperity "Path of Prosperity") _ The **Path of Prosperity**, or the **Walk of Prosperity**, is a central road that cuts its way though the center and heart of Glies. This eastern monolith of trade and information stretches thousands of miles. No kingdom, country, or clan claims to own the walk of prosperity as it belongs to all. Many have tried to conquer it, but none have been successful for the people who live there are truly free and independent. #### Southern Province Within the **southern province** reside the [southern kingdoms](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Glies#Southern_Kingdoms) whose leaders are based off real-world leaders from Asia. #### Seat of the Elements This is where the [Kami](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Kami "Kami"), the greatest of the [Yokai](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Yokai "Yokai"), manifest themselves in the mortal realm. #### Eclipse _ Main article: [Eclipse](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Eclipse "Eclipse") _ Formerly known as the **Eastern Kingdoms**, the **Eclipse** is the name of the political entity and geographical region resulted from the unification of the eastern kingdoms by the warlord [Otami Kurosai](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Otami_Kurosai "Otami Kurosai"). In the current day the Glien imperial throne is located at [Da-Shi-Shi](http://verum.fandom.com/wiki/Da-Shi-Shi "Da-Shi-Shi"). The would-be capital city is currently occupied by the forces of the Eclipse.[2] This entire area is conquered with one exception: in the northern-most region it is rumored that a rebellious spirit stirs within the people.
